1. Choose right screen meshes and screening methods according to characteristics of screened materials

 

When screening materials with fine particles, high moisture content, and a large amount of clay, the materials are prone to adhesion. Especially when the moisture content is more than 5%, the materials need to be dried and dehydrated before screening. If the moisture content is more than 8%, wet screening should be carried out.

2. Adjustment of vibration parameters of sieving machine

For minerals with high density and coarse particle size (such as iron ore), it is recommended to adopt low frequency and high amplitude (vibration frequency of 15-20Hz, amplitude of 4-6mm) to enhance the throwing force of materials;

For fine particles or sticky wet materials, it is recommended to use high frequency low amplitude (vibration frequency 25-30Hz, amplitude 2-3mm), to enhance the penetration rate and reduce the plugging holes.
