Mine Grinder

HUATAO grinder is a mining device that grinds ore. The raw material is fed into a hollow cylinder (with end caps at both ends) through a hollow journal for grinding. The cylinder is filled with grinding media of various diameters (steel balls, steel bars or gravel, etc.). The advantage is that it is easy to operate, convenient for the self-flow of the pulp and the distribution of the pulp. There are several classification methods for grinding machines, among which the most practical classification method is based on different grinding media: ball mills with metal balls, rod mills with steel rods, and the ore to be ground as the medium The one is an autogenous mill, and the one that uses ore or gravel as the medium is a gravel mill. Working Principle

The working principle of the grinding machine is shown in Figure 1. The raw materials are fed into the hollow cylinder 3 (with end caps 2 and 4 at both ends) through the hollow journal 1 for grinding. The cylinder is filled with grinding media of various diameters (steel balls, steel bars or gravel, etc.) [2] .

When the cylinder rotates at a certain speed around the horizontal axis, under the action of centrifugal force and frictional force, the medium and raw materials in the cylinder will be separated from the cylinder when their own gravity is greater than the centrifugal force as the cylinder reaches a certain height. Wall projectiles fall or roll down, shattering the ore due to the force of the impact. At the same time, during the rotation of the mill, the sliding motion of the grinding media between each other also produces a grinding effect on the raw materials. The ground material is discharged through the hollow journal 5 . Due to the continuous feeding of the material, the pressure of the material in the cylinder causes the material in the cylinder to move from the feeding end to the discharging end. During wet grinding, the material is taken away by the water flow; during dry grinding, the material is taken away by the airflow drawn out of the cylinder.

①Ball mill: The medium is metal balls (steel balls or cast iron balls).

②Rod mill: The medium is steel rod.

③Gravel mill: use gravel as the grinding medium.

④Self-grinding machine: Relying on large pieces of ore as grinding medium, sometimes adding a small amount of steel balls.
